AWARD NOMINATIONS

Award nominations closed June 14th

TWQA is strong because of its outstanding members - and we’re proud to celebrate their achievements. Each year, we honor individuals who go above and beyond in service, leadership, and dedication to our industry. Please take a moment to review the award categories and their descriptions. If you know someone who deserves to be recognized, submit their name through the Awards Nomination form. Remember: awards are only given when nominations are received!

Water Quality Man-of-the-Year 

Qualifications: An untiring and dedicated water conditioning professional of high moral character and with an unselfish desire to assist newcomers in the profession.  Must be an active member of TWQA and be instrumental in planning and presenting programs for TWQA, regional schools, and annual meeting.

Water Quality Woman-of-the-Year 

Qualifications: An untiring and dedicated water conditioning professional of high moral character and with an unselfish desire to assist newcomers in the profession.  Must be an active member of TWQA and be instrumental in planning and presenting programs for TWQA, regional schools, and annual meeting.

Meritorious Service Award  

Qualifications: An active member of TWQA of high moral character who has rendered many years of dedicated and faithful continuous assistance and guidance to the TWQA and its members. 

Outstanding Young-Person-of-the-Year   

Qualifications: An individual 21 to 35 years old of high moral character, actively involved in TWQA and possessing at least a Level III certificate of proficiency in water treatment and/or water conditioning as issued by the TWQA.  The recipient should be presently employed and have made a significant contribution in public awareness concerning the industry. 

Honorary Life Membership   

Qualifications: Member of TWQA who has shown outstanding achievement and valuable service to TWQA.  

Community Service Award    

Qualifications: An active member of TWQA who has performed an act of community service above and beyond the call of duty, but not to the point of endangering his or her life.  

Award of Merit     

Qualifications: An untiring and dedicated individual of high moral character who has rendered many years of dedicated and faithful continuous assistance and guidance to water conditioning professionals on both a state and national level.  

The Sonny Cammack Award   

Qualifications: This award is given in appreciation of dedicated service to the water quality industry and for providing leadership which represents the spirit in which our Association was founded.  

The Gib Boerner Award   

Qualifications: This award is given in appreciation of continued use of the ideals for which this Association was created:  Honesty, High Ethical Standards, Humility and Integrity in both the business and personal spheres of life.
