Jo Grace TWQA Scholarship
This scholarship was created in 2013 by TWQA members to honor Jo Grace for her long time support of the Texas Water Quality Association.
Each year, the fund awards one or more scholarships to a child or legal dependent of a member of TWQA, or a child or legal dependent of an employee of any current TWQA member, including supplier members, who will be a full-time student at an accredited college, university or trade school.

Scholarship Application & Requirements
JO GRACE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Applications are accepted from January 15th to May 22, 2026.
You will need the following information in order to submit your application:

A 500 word essay as to why you need a scholarship and why you want to go to college (this can be typed in a Word document and then cut and pasted into the application)

Student’s Social Security Number and College ID (if assigned)

Official high school transcript through the end of their final semester

Official college transcript (if any college courses were taken during high school, i.e. dual enrollment)

SAT and/or ACT score sheets (if applicable)

Names, addresses, phone numbers and emails of at least two references not related to the applicant, with no more than one being a teacher/school administrator (addresses not needed for teachers/school administrators).
In order for your application to be considered, transcripts must be received in full by May 22nd; be sure to allow schools enough time to process your request. When answering questions, please provide as much detail as possible to ensure proper consideration for all funds in which you may qualify.
