Online Training Policy*

Online Training Technical Requirements
TWQA provides each attendee with their unique link to access the online training, along with instructions. The link will be sent within 7-10 business days prior to the scheduled online training.

TWQA online training is conducted using Webex. It is highly recommended that you use the link provided to the Webex website to view compatibility requirements and test your connection prior to the scheduled training.

Participants must log in from a laptop or pc, mobile phones and tablets are not compliant. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary equipment, it is functioning, it is compatible with Webex, and they know how to use it. For technical support, please visit help.webex.com. TWQA’s refund policy excludes attendees experiencing technical difficulties or equipment failures.

It is recommended that you participate from a quiet location where there will be few distractions. Participants are required to attend the training in its entirety; no partial credit will be given, per TCEQ guidelines & licensing requirements. These requirements include timely attendance and active participation in all polls and chats. Late logins are automatically blocked from the training.

Online Training Contact Hours Requirements
Inability to complete contact hours requirements will result in no contact hours being issued, regardless of the reason.

  • Each attendee must be logged in individually so their participation may be accurately tracked.
  • Attendees must be logged in at the beginning and must remain logged in through the end of the session.
  • Attendees must promptly respond to chats or polling questions that appear randomly throughout the online training.
  • No partial credit will be given.

Licensed Operators

  • Attendees must pre-register and provide a valid license number.
  • After the online training concludes, TWQA staff will email contact hours verification to attendees meeting the contact hours requirements.
    Reports will also be sent to the appropriate certification agencies.

Non-Licensed Individuals Pursuant of Obtaining a License

  • Attendees must pre-register and provide the last 4 digits of their social security number.
  • After the online training concludes, TWQA staff will follow up to request a full social security number.
    TCEQ requires this information to identify each individual obtaining his/her license.

Online Training Recordings
Online training participants should be aware that the online training they attend will be recorded. TWQA holds a perpetual license to copy, distribute, make videos, DVDs, CDs, publish, reproduce the recording, to post the recording on its website, to sell the recording or any copy or derivative thereof, to market and publicize the recording, all without any fee or compensation paid or to be paid to participants by TWQA.

Prohibition of Recording: Recording of any sounds or visual images and use of any recording device now known, or later developed, is prohibited unless prior written permission has been expressly granted by TWQA.

Written cancellation requests received at least 14 days before a scheduled event will receive a refund, less a $50 administrative processing fee. Full payment is required if cancellation is received less than 14 days of the scheduled event and no refunds and no credits for future events will be granted. However, substitutions may be made at any time. TWQA reserves the right to make changes in programs and speakers, or to cancel programs when conditions beyond its control prevail. Every effort will be made to contact each enrollee if a program is cancelled. If a program is not held, TWQA’s liability is limited to the refund of the program fee only.
